Privacy policy
Effective July 28, 2026
Asta is a social app for trading real-money prediction markets, operated by VSP Services LLC. This page says what we collect, why, and who touches it. The short version: we collect what the product needs to work and nothing else, and we don't sell any of it.
What we collect
Account basics. You sign in with Google. We receive your email address, name, and profile picture from your Google account. We never see your Google password.
Waitlist details. If you join the waitlist, we store your email and any Telegram or Discord handle you choose to leave.
Profile. Your display name, handle, and avatar if you set them.
Wallet address. A non-custodial wallet is created for your account through Privy. We store its public address. We never hold or see your private keys.
Trading activity. Orders you place, positions you hold, and deposits or withdrawals you make are recorded in our database and executed on Polymarket. Blockchain transactions are public and permanent by nature.
Region. We use your approximate location (from your IP address) to determine whether trading is available where you are.
Technical basics. Session cookies to keep you signed in, and standard server logs.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data.
We don't run ads or share your information with advertisers.
We don't collect card numbers or bank details. Funding is crypto only.
We don't custody your funds or keys. Your wallet is yours.
Who processes data for us
Asta runs on a small set of service providers, each seeing only what their job requires:
- Google, for sign-in.
- Supabase, for authentication and our database.
- Privy, for creating and securing your embedded wallet.
- Polymarket, for executing trades and processing deposits and withdrawals.
- Vercel, for hosting.
- Resend, for the emails we send you (like waitlist approval).
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. Email us to delete your account and we'll remove the data we hold about you. Transactions already settled on a public blockchain can't be deleted by anyone, including us.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with a new effective date.
